  1. This website lists the Extracted batches for the British Isles that previously formed part of the IGI (International Genealogical Index), the on-line database created by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) and available at familysearch.org.
To search for a particular parish or church, click on the a Country link at left (e.g. 'England'), then on a County name. This displays an index of places (mostly parishes), from which you can either go on to list the data in batch number sequence, or click through to the FamilySearch website.

  2. Use this site to find the LDS microfilm batch numbers for the International Genealogical Index. You can check each parish to see which baptism, marriage and burial records have been microfilmed and then search the IGI within that particular microfilm.
